DAVID SCHWARTZ

David is an award-winning film director whose work spans both music videos and narrative filmmaking. He won the Best Music Video award for Angel by Emblem3 at the 2025 Lonely Seal Film & Music Festival (Massachusetts), and he is known for his captivating and edgy Sci-Fi thrillers. His debut short film, The Old Bargain, earned him the Best Director award at the Southern Film Festival (formerly the Lanett City Film Festival, 2020) and won Best Screenplay at the Brooklyn Independent Film Festival (Brooklyn, NY 2020). Building on that early success, David directed his second short film, The Big Chicken, which garnered multiple accolades including Best Suspense Thriller at the Dream Machine International Film Festival (Los Angeles, 2022), and Best Student Film honors at the Sunscreen Film Festival (St. Petersburg, FL, 2023), the Southern Shorts Awards (Roswell, GA, 2022), and the Blue Sky International Film & Music Festival (Prague, Czech Republic, 2022).

As a professional Rock & Roll drummer, David’s musical spirit brings an energetic, rhythmic quality to his visual storytelling. He also holds a commercial drone pilot license issued by the FAA. Alongside filmmaking, he enjoys activities such as baseball, pickleball, video games, concerts, hiking, and working out at the gym.

David is a Co-Founder and Vice President of Bluphyre Media, LLC, where he is the Creative Director of Music Industry Promotions. He is also the official videographer of the band Emblem3.
